He will be joined by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh.Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said that unlike several developed nations, the Modi government did not raise taxes to fund the recovery of the COVID-hit economy and focussed on raising public expenditure on infrastructure as it has a multiplier effect.The Lok Sabha, later, approved the Finance Bill 2022 giving effect to the taxation proposals and completing the Budgetary exercise for 2022-23 fiscal by the lower house.In a virtual address to the European Council summit in Brussels, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the military alliance is "yet to show what it can do to save people" in the wake of Russia's continued war on Kyiv.Meanwhile, the  deputy head of Russia's military general staff says that 1,351 Russian soldiers have died in Ukraine. NATO estimated on Wednesday that 7,000 to 15,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in four weeks of war in Ukraine.

NIA Files Chargesheet Against Pak-Based LeT Terrorist In Uri Inflitration Case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday filed a charge sheet in a court here against a Pakistani terrorist affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) who was arrested during an infiltration attempt in Uri sector in September last year, an official said.

The charge sheet was filed against Imdadullah, hailing from Pakistan's Punjab province, under various sections of the IPC, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Explosives Act and the Foreigners Act, a spokesperson of the NIA said. (PTI)

Russia's Ministry Of Defense Updates On Ukraine Conflict

The Defense Ministry of Russian Federation has reported that 1,587 Ukrainian tanks and similar combat vehicles have been destroyed since February 24.

112 military aircraft, including helicopters and drones, have been put out of action by Russian armed forces.
