At least six workers were injured after a major fire broke out in a chemical factory at Dahej in Gujarat's Bharuch district on Tuesday, police said.
The fire broke out at Bharat Rasayan's unit and rescue operation was underway, said Superintendent of Police Leena Patil. Six workers have been taken to a hospital in Bharuch city, she added. (PTI)

The Pune police have registered a FIR against three BJP workers for allegedly assaulting an NCP woman member in an auditorium here during a face-off between the two sides at a book release event attended by Union minister Smriti Irani, an official said on Tuesday.
The incident had taken place on Monday when workers of the Congress and NCP, which share power with the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, staged protests against price rise outside a luxury hotel and the Bal Gandharva auditorium, where Irani attended events during her visit to Pune city.
"An offence was registered on late Monday night. PM Modi To Address Silver Jubilee Celebrations Of TRAI On May 17
On May 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at a function commemorating the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India's (TRAI) silver anniversary. Modi will give his speech through video conferencing at 11 a.m. In addition, the Prime Minister will issue a commemorative postal stamp.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997, formed TRAI in 1997.
During the session, Modi will also unveil a 5G Test Bed, which was constructed as a multi-institute collaboration initiative lead by IIT Madras. IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IISc Bangalore, Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER), and Centre of Excellence in Wireless Technology were among the other institutions involved in the research (CEWiT).
Water Supply To Be Hit In Delhi From May 17
In the face of rising temperatures, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) said on Monday that the capital's water supply will be disrupted beginning Tuesday. According to authorities, the Yamuna has "almost dried up," reducing output capacity at Wazirabad, Chandrawal, and Okhla water treatment plants.
"Due to depletion of pond level of Yamuna at Wazirabad Water Works 669.40 feet against the normal level of 674.50 feet and reduction in the release of raw water by Haryana in river Yamuna, water production has been affected from Water Treatment Plants at Wazirabad, Chandrawal, and Okhla. Water supply shall be affected since the morning of 17.05.2022 & till the pond level improves to normal," the DJB said in a statement.
Indian Embassy In Ukraine To Resume Operation Out Of Kyiv From May 17
India stated on Friday that its embassy in Ukraine will reopen on May 17 in Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital. Since mid-March, the embassy has been temporarily based in Warsaw, Poland.
“The Indian Embassy in Ukraine, which was temporarily operating out of Warsaw (Poland), would be resuming its operation in Kyiv with effect from May 17,” the Ministry of External Affairs said.
It said the embassy was temporarily relocated to Warsaw on March 13.
