PM Modi To Embark On 3-Day Visit To Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh Today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat from October 9 to 11, followed by a visit to Madhya Pradesh on October 11, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office on Saturday, news agency ANI reported.
In Gujarat, the Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the groundwork for projects worth over Rs 14,500 crore.
According to the PMO, "On October 9, at around 5:30 pm, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple projects at Modhera in Mehsana. This will be followed by Darshan and Pooja at Modheshwari Mata Temple at around 6:45 pm, followed by a visit to Surya Mandir at 7:30 pm."
PM Modi will dedicate to the country and launch different projects at Amod in Bharuch on October 10 at approximately 11 a.m. The Prime Minister will dedicate Modi Shaikshanik Sankul in Ahmedabad at 3:15 p.m.
Heavy Rain In Delhi Predicted Till Oct 9: IMD
Between Friday and Saturday, there was heavy rain in Delhi, the nation's capital. The national capital is expected to see similar rainy periods over the weekend, according to a prediction made by the Indian Metrological Department (IMD).
On Saturday and Sunday, a low of about 28 degrees Celsius is anticipated. According to the IMD, Monday might see light showers and moderate rain over the weekend.
"Isolated/scattered heavy falls & thunderstorms/lightning are very likely over Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh during the 07th-11th; Haryana on 08th & 09th; East Rajasthan during 7-09th and West Madhya Pradesh during 07th-10th; East Madhya Pradesh on 07th & 11th October 2022," the IMD tweeted.
According to data from the System of Air Quality Weather Forecasting and Research, the AQI was measured as 68 on Friday morning at 9.20 am, which is in the "acceptable" category, and it further improved to 55 by the evening.
