PM Modi To Distribute Over 51k Appointment Letters
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits today as part of the Rozgar Mela drive. The Prime Minister will address all the recruits through video-conferencing and give away the letters.
According to a statement release by the Centre, recruitments are taking place across central government departments as well as some states and Union Territories. The Rozgar Mela is being organised at 37 locations across the country.
The recruits who have been selected will join departments like posts, railways, home affairs, revenue, higher education, school education and literacy, health and family welfare among others, reported PTI.
Amit Shah On 3-Day Madhya Pradesh Visit
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a 3-day visit to poll-bound Madhya Pradesh from today. According to the party release, the Home Minister will visit Chhindwara, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Rewa, Chhatarpur, Shahdol, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior districts. He will address divisional meetings, public gatherings and take part in different functions, the press statement further said.
Assembly elections in Madhya are scheduled for November 17.
Badrinath, Kedarnath Temples To Close At 4 PM Today
Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines, along with all temples under the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee will close at 4 pm today due to lunar eclipse. The lunar eclipse will start at 01:04 pm on October 28 and the 'Sutak' (inauspicious time) period will begin nine hours before that, said the Temple Committee chairman Ajendra Ajay to PTI.
The Badrinath and Kedarnath temples will open in the 'brahma muhurta' after the morning purification puja on Sunday, he further said.
Shri Narasingh Temple in Joshimath, Second Kedar Madmaheshwar, Third Kedar Tungnath, Shri Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath and Yoga Badri Pandukeshwar are the other shrines that will be closed.
