Armed Forces today in a ceremony shifted the Inverted Rifle and Helmet from India Gate, which was the symbol of Fallen Soldiers of 1971 War, to Param Yodha Sthal at National War Memorial and installed the same in the midst of Busts of Param Vir Chakra Awardees: Ministry of Defence


"Integration of Memorial of Fallen Soldiers of 1971 war with National War Memorial complete. Ceremony was led by Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee Air Marshal BR Krishna & attended by Adjutant Gen equivalents from 3 Services," the ministry said further.


It also stated that as part of the ceremony, a final salute was given and CISC offered a wreath at India Gate. "Thereafter the Inverted Rifle and Helmet was removed and carried in a ceremonial vehicle to the Param Yodha Sthal and installed at a newly created monument," Defence Ministry said.


Meanwhile, the CISC accompanied by the AGs equivalents from three Services presented a salute to the new monument

PM Modi To Inaugurate India's Biggest Drone Festival 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the country's biggest drone festival in the national capital on Friday and farmers will interact with drone drivers. During this, the Prime Minister will also witness the drone operations. The two-day 'India Drone Festival' is starting on May 27.


According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the country's largest drone festival 'India Drone Festival 2022' on May 27 at 10 am at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.


Over 1,600 people from government officials, foreign diplomats, armed forces, central armed police forces, private companies, and drone startups will participate.
