BJP All Set To Kick Off 'Ashirwad Yatra' In Mumbai Lok Sabha Constituencies From Sunday:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will begin a Yatra to engage with people in all six Lok Sabha constituencies in Mumbai on Sunday, according to the Mumbai unit president Ashish Shelar, PTI reported.

According to the report, the BJP Legislator told reporters on Saturday that the 'Ashirwad Yatra' is intended to reach out to people.

"We will cover two Lok Sabha seats on Sunday, two more on March 9, and the remaining two on March 11th," added the former Maharashtra minister.

During the Yatra, he said, BJP leaders will visit significant temples in the six Lok Sabha constituencies.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP and its then-ally, the Shiv Sena (undivided), both won three seats in Mumbai. The BJP won seats in Mumbai North, North East, and North Central, while the Shiv Sena won seats in Mumbai South, South Central, and North West.

Among the three Shiv Sena MPs from Mumbai, Rahul Shewale from Mumbai South Central and Gajanan Kirtikar from Mumbai North West are members of the Eknath Shinde faction, which the Election Commission recently recognised as the original Shiv Sena.

Chhattisgarh: Kejriwal, Mann To Address AAP Workers In Raipur Today:

Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister, and Aam Aadmi Party national convener will travel to Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur on Sunday to help the AAP prepare for the state's assembly elections later this year, PTI reported.

Kejriwal will be accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and the two will speak at a party workers' convention in Delhi.

The AAP tried its luck for the first time in the Chhattisgarh assembly elections in 2018, fielding candidates in 85 of 90 seats but failing to win. But, a landslide victory in Punjab last year boosted the party's national ambitions.

Despite winning only five seats after mounting a high-decibel campaign in Gujarat, where the Bharatiya Janata Party won a record 156 seats, the party received about 13% of the vote.

On Saturday, the AAP confirmed its intention to run for all 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh, which also goes to the polls this year. The visit of the AAP's top leadership and their engagement with party workers would improve preparations for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections, according to Gopal Rai, a Delhi minister, and the party's state election in-charge.

Delhi To Host Bird Festival At Sanjay Van:

A bird festival will be held on Sunday in the sylvan Sanjay Van, with nature walks to spot resident and migratory birds, interactive multimedia exhibits, and workshops.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and WWF-India have collaborated on this festival, which coincides with World Wildlife Day.

"Delhi is the world's second most bird-rich capital city. The bustling metropolis, which is home to a staggering diversity of resident bird species, also welcomes winter and summer visitors as well as passage migrants on their incredible journeys," according to an official statement.
