The Rajasthan government has suspended Udaipur ASP Ashok Kumar Meena in Kanhaiya Lal murder case. Earlier, the government had transferred 32 police officers. The matter is being investigated by NIA in collaboration with ATS and the Special Branch (SOG) of Rajasthan Police.
"Keeping in view the security, law & order and public safety, internet services will be temporarily suspended for the next 24 hours from 5.30pm on 1st July till 5.30 pm on 2nd July in Jaipur, Alwar & Dausa districts of Jaipur division," Jaipur Divisional Commissioner said.
Over 50 passengers injured after a private bus and KSRTC bus collided at Shivamogga-Sringeri road in Karnataka. All injured passengers shifted to Meggan Hospital, Shivamogga. There were more than 35 passengers on the private bus and more than 45 passengers on KSRTC bus.

Sanjay Raut To Appear Before ED In Money Laundering Case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will question Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in the Rs 1,034 crore Patra Chawl Land Scam case. “I will be going to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office tomorrow,” said the Shiv Sena leader while speaking to the media here. Raut had failed to appear in his first summon on Monday due to the then political crisis.
The ED attached properties belonging to Raut in April in connection with the land scam. The ED had attached assets worth Rs 9 crore of Raut's aide Pravin Raut and Rs 2 crore of Sanjay Raut's wife Varsha Raut.
Ban On Identified Single-Use Plastic Items
From July 1, 19 types of products made from single-use plastic are going to be banned in the capital of the country. The Delhi Environment Department is going to launch a campaign to completely eliminate all 19 banned items of Single-Use Plastic (SUP). This campaign will start on July 1. In this campaign, action will be taken against the manufacturers, suppliers, stockers, dealers and sellers of these products under the rules.
From July 1, single use plastic items like earbuds, plastic balloon sticks, plastic flags, plastic sticks of candy, plastic sticks of ice cream, thermocol decorative items, plastic plates, cups, glasses, forks, spoons, straws, trays, foil packaging for sweets, invitation card foil, cigarette packaging foil, PVC and plastic banners thinner than 100 microns, etc will be banned.
