About 100 invitees, including DGPs of states and UTs, as well as Chiefs of Central Armed Police Forces and Central Police Organizations, will attend the Conference in person, while the remaining invitees will participate online from throughout the nation.The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including cybercrime, policing technology, counter-terrorism difficulties, left-wing extremism, capacity building, and prison reform, among others.The conference is the result of intensive debates on specified themes by police and intelligence professionals from the district, state, and national levels. Best practises from states/UTs will be shared at the Conference so that states may learn from one another.It is the result of intensive debates on specified themes involving police and intelligence professionals from the district, state, and national levels.MP: 8th India International Science Festival To Be Held In BhopalAn official announced on Friday that the 8th India International Science Festival-2022 (IISF) will be held at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from January 21 to 24, reported PTI.In the presence of Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh and the state's science and technology minister Om Prakash Saklecha, it will be opened by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan."Marching towards Amrit Kaal with Science, Technology, and Innovation" is the event's theme, which is being organized by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, and MP government in association with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA).According to a press release, the "Vigyanika-Science Literature Festival" will be held on January 22 and 23 by the department of biotechnology, VIBHA, and the CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR).

Mumbai | The fifth Kalvari-class submarine 'Vagir' will be commissioned in the Indian Navy on January 23. It has been built indigenously at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited in Mumbai.

Cdr Divakar S, Commanding Officer told ANI, "INS Vagir can be deployed both closer to the shore as well as mod-ocean. It will be ready to meet all the requirements of the Navy and the country. It is a big step towards becoming Atmanirbhar Bharat. This is the fifth Kalvari class submarine."

"It is a matter of pride that the construction of Vagir has been completely done by MDL (Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited) and it was overseen by Indian Navy. Most of the trials were undertaken by the Navy & MDL together," he added.
