PM Modi To Attend All India Conference Of DGP/IGP On January 21-22


On 21-22 January 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the All India Conference of Director Generals/ Inspector Generals of Police 2022 at the National Agricultural Science Complex, PUSA, New Delhi, news agency ANI reported.


The three-day Conference will be conducted in a hybrid style from January 20 to 22, 2023. About 100 invitees, including DGPs of states and UTs, as well as Chiefs of Central Armed Police Forces and Central Police Organizations, will attend the Conference in person, while the remaining invitees will participate online from throughout the nation.


The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including cybercrime, policing technology, counter-terrorism difficulties, left-wing extremism, capacity building, and prison reform, among others.


The conference is the result of intensive debates on specified themes by police and intelligence professionals from the district, state, and national levels. Best practises from states/UTs will be shared at the Conference so that states may learn from one another.

MP: 8th India International Science Festival To Be Held In Bhopal


An official announced on Friday that the 8th India International Science Festival-2022 (IISF) will be held at the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from January 21 to 24, reported PTI.


In the presence of Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh and the state's science and technology minister Om Prakash Saklecha, it will be opened by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.


"Marching towards Amrit Kaal with Science, Technology, and Innovation" is the event's theme, which is being organized by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space, and MP government in association with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA).


According to a press release, the "Vigyanika-Science Literature Festival" will be held on January 22 and 23 by the department of biotechnology, VIBHA, and the CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR).
