An encounter started between terrorists and security forces in Pariwan area of Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district on Wednesday, offficial sources told news agency IANS.
The firefight between terrorists and security forces took place after a joint team of the police and the security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation on the basis of specific information about presence of terrorists.
Aam Aadmi Party's national convener and Delhi chief minister on Wednesday said that the party's chief ministerial face for Punjab will be announced next week.
Meanwhile, the party announced a 10-point "Punjab Model" that promises jobs to youths, ending drug menace and bringing justice in sacrilege cases, as Arvind Kejriwal asserted people will vote his party to power to break the "partnership" between the Congress and the Badals.

Taking a jibe on the current government over the Prime Minister Security lapse case, he said, "Security will be ensured to all - be it PM or anyone else."
After a brief encounter, Delhi Police Special Cell (Southern Range) arrested Rakesh Tajpuria, who was carrying a reward of Rs 50,000, from the Narela area last night on charges of providing weapons used in the murder of gangster Jitender Gogi in Rohini court last year, says Delhi Police, reported news agency ANI.
