Home Minister Amit Shah To Visit Karnataka, MP And Bihar From Feb 23-25

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will travel to Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar. During his time there, he will give speeches at public gatherings and take part in other events, such as an interactive session in Bengaluru, a tribal congregation in Satna, and a meeting of farmers and laborers in Patna.

The southern state is scheduled for assembly elections in May, and Madhya Pradesh is scheduled for elections later this year, so Shah's visit to the three politically important states from February 23 to 25 is significant. Both states are governed by the BJP. After Chief Minister Nitish Kumar broke off his ties with the saffron party to form a new political formation, the BJP is also looking to make political gains in Bihar by expanding its support base and partnering with new allies. It is trying to turn the tables on the ruling grandalliance in the state, which consists of the RJD, JD(U), Congress, and the Left.

According to BJP sources, the home minister will attend "Vijay Sankalp Samavesh" on Thursday in Bellary, Karnataka, before speaking in Bengaluru at an interactive session on "Indian Polity 65 years Scenario and Paradigm Shift Under Modi."

On February 24, Shah will travel to Madhya Pradesh, where he will pray at the Maa Sharda Shaktipeeth Temple in Satna, address a group of Kol tribals, an important voting bloc, and open a medical college there.
