Climate activist Disha Ravi has been sent to three-day judicial custody by Patiala House Court in connection with the ‘Toolkit’ conspiracy case related to the farmers’ agitation. During the hearing, public prosecutor said that Disha Ravi has to be confronted with the co-accused that is why Police need 3-day judicial custody.

Disha Ravi Blames Nikita, Shantanu During Questioning, Says Police

The Delhi Police on Friday told a city court that climate activist Disha Ravi has been evasive in giving replies during the interrogation and shifted the blame onto co-accused Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk. The police requested the court to send her to three-day judicial custody, as they have served a notice to co-accused Shantanu, who will join the investigation on February 22, following which both will be confronted.


"She has been evasive in giving replies. We have served notice to co-accused Shantanu who will join the investigation on February 22. She has to be confronted with the co-accused," Public Prosecutor Irfan Ahmed told the court. Metropolitan Magistrate Akash Jain will pronounce the order on the police application seeking three-day judicial custody shortly.

Disha Ravi Produced To Patiala High Court, Order Reserved For 4 PM

On behalf of Delhi Police, public prosecutor tells the court that Disha Ravi has been in giving replies. The lawyer also said that co-accused Shantanu will join the probe on Feb 22 adding that Disha has now shifted the blame on Nikita and Shantanu. Meanwhile, Court has reserved its order for 4 pm.

Welcome to the ABP News HIGHLIGHTS, Friday, 19th February 2021: Four Chinese officers and soldiers were killed in the clash with Indian soldiers last year at Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh, China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) has officially admitted for the first time.
