A five-year-old boy was killed and 16 persons injured on Tuesday when a bus carrying Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims overturned in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. The bus was on its way to Delhi from Katra, the base camp for the pilgrims visiting the famous shrine atop Trikuta hills.
A total of 8 people have died till now while 3 are injured in a road accident in Shopian, said Devansh Yadav, DC, Kishtwar, as reported by news agency ANI.

Delhi: Decision On Arvind Kejriwal's Vote Of Confidence To Be Taken Up
The meeting of the Delhi Assembly on Monday has been adjourned till 11 am on Tuesday amid protests by ruling Aam Aadmi Party legislators after Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demanded a majority test to prove the support of all his party MLAs.
Ahead of the vote, the chief minister blamed the Center for inflation and alleged that the prices of daily use items had gone up because the BJP government had waived off loans of its "billionaire friends".
Kejriwal said that if the loans waived by the Center are recovered, inflation will end.
Amit Shah To Visit Delhi Police Headquarters To Review G20 Summit Preparations
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the Delhi Police Headquarters on Jai Singh Road after two and a half years to review the preparations for the G20 Summit.
According to the official release, apart from reviewing the functioning of the Delhi Police, he will hold confidential discussions with top officials about the security preparedness for the G20 summit to be held in September next year.
Delhi Police tweeted and said that the Home Minister will review Delhi Police's action plan for 2024, preparation for the G20 summit, besides winning medals in Common Wealth Games and other sports events.
According to the information, on this occasion, Shah will also honor the policemen who have won medals in other sports including CWG and World Police Fire Games. Significantly, for the last few days, Amit Shah has been holding continuous meetings with different agencies of the country regarding internal security.
