The death toll in the building collapse incident in Maharashtra's Bhiwandi has risen to three, according to Thane Municipal Corporation, and rescue operations are underway.
The cause of the Bhiwandi building collapse has yet to be determined.

As part of a special anti-drug drive, the crime branch’s unit six intercepted two persons, later identified as Hasan Sheikh (29) and Padma Patil (45), near Rang Sharda Hotel, the official said.
During a search, they recovered 36 grams of MD from them, he said. During a similar drive in Ghatkopar, the crime branch recovered charas worth nearly Rs 77,000 from one Abdul Sheikh (57) at Amrut Nagar locality, the official said. The accused persons in both cases have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS), he added.

PM Modi To Embark On Two-Day Visit To Poll-Bound Karnataka
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day trip to poll-bound Karnataka on Saturday and Sunday, where he will speak at six public meetings and host two roadshows.
Modi will take a special aircraft from Delhi on Saturday morning to Bidar airport, where he will take a helicopter to Humnabad in the Bidar district to address a public meeting at 11 a.m., according to his itinerary.
After the meeting, he will travel to Vijayapura where he will address a public get-together at 1 pm. After that, he would take a flight to Kudachi, which is in the district of Belagavi. There, he would address the people around 2.45 p.m.
After that, Modi would fly in the evening to Bengaluru to hold a road show in Bengaluru North.
He would spend the night in Bengaluru before flying to Kolar on Sunday morning from Raj Bhavan, where he would address a public meeting at 11.30 a.m.
The Prime Minister would then take a flight to Channapatna in the Ramanagara district from Kolar to give a speech at a public meeting at 1:30 p.m.
After that, Modi would travel to the Hassan district temple town of Belur, where he would give an address at 3.45 p.m.
The State leader's next objective will be Mysuru a similar night, where he will hold a roadshow.
He would use the special aircraft to travel from Mysuru to Delhi following the event.
This is Modi's 10th visit to survey-bound Karnataka this year since February where Assembly elections to 224 seats are expected on May 10.
Shraddha Walkar Murder: Delhi Court Likely To Pass Order On Charges Against Poonawala
A Delhi court is expected to pronounce its order against Aaftab Amin Poonawala, who is accused of strangling and chopping his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar's body into pieces.
