PM Modi To Attend SWAGAT Anniv On April 27 In Gujarat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate via videoconference in a celebration marking the 20th anniversary of the State-wide Attention on Grievances by Application of Technology (SWAGAT) initiative in Gujarat on Thursday.
He will also interact with previous beneficiaries of the scheme at the event. The government of Gujarat is celebrating SWAGAT Saptah.
When Modi was Gujarat's Chief Minister in April 2003, he established SWAGAT. Using technology, this program aimed to bridge the gap between citizens and the government by promptly and effectively resolving their day-to-day complaints.
