PM Modi To Launch India's First Water Metro Today: 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India's first "Water Metro" services on April 25 in Kochi, Kerala, in another move to boost economic growth, tourism, and transportation connectivity.
 Water Metro is a one-of-a-kind urban mass transit system that provides the same experience and ease of travel as traditional metro systems.


The water metro, which PM Modi plans to launch as a "dream project" for the state, would help to accelerate Kochi's growth and development.


Kedarnath Portals To Open Today:


The Kedarnath portals in the Garhwal Himalayas are set to open for devotees on Tuesday (April 25), but thousands of pilgrims en route to the temple have been unable to continue due to bad weather in the area. Pilgrims have been asked to wait in Rishikesh, Gaurikund, Guptkashi, and Sonprayag until the weather improves, news agency PTI reported citing officials. 


According to Tehri SSP Navneet Singh Bhullar, the pilgrims have been stopped at Bhadrakali and Vyasi and asked to stay in Rishikesh for the time being due to the forecast of snowfall and bad weather in Kedarnath.

The maximum temperature in Delhi was 34.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees below the season's average on Monday. The minimum temperature was 19 degrees Celsius, four degrees below normal.


The weatherman predicts partly cloudy skies on Tuesday, with maximum and minimum temperatures of 36 degrees and 18 degrees Celsius, respectively. The 24-hour Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was in the 'moderate' category, with a reading of 160.
