Eight More Services On Mumbai Metro Lines 2A And 7 From Monday:
A Maha Mumbai Metro official said on Friday that eight more services will begin operating on Metro Lines 2A and 7, bringing the total number of services on the route to 253, PTI reported. This increase will ensure that there is a service every 7.28 minutes, up from 7.50 minutes now, though non-peak hour frequency will remain at 10.25 minutes, according to a Maha Mumbai Metro release.
The service expansion was made to meet the route's growing demand and to improve commuter experience by reducing waiting time, according to the release.
