Apple CEO Tim Cook Likely To Meet PM Modi
Apple Chief Tim Cook is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to a Reuters report. Cook will also meet with Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the deputy IT minister, according to sources cited in the Reuters report. The meeting with Modi, according to the source, which includes a government official, is scheduled for Wednesday in Delhi. Nonetheless, the PM's office or the public authority of India is yet to affirm something similar.
Bloomberg had previously reported that Apple had requested a meeting with PM Modi for Cook amid the government's efforts to attract Apple's manufacturing partners, such as Foxconn Technology Group and Pegatron Corp. Cook visited India for the first time in 2016.

2-Day Conference Of G20 Research And Innovation Initiative Gathering Begins In Dharamshala
The G20 Research and Innovation Initiative Gathering (RIIG) will begin a two-day conference that will discuss how to construct a long-lasting eco-innovative energy transition system on Wednesday.
Delegates from G20 nations, visitor countries, worldwide associations and specialists from established researchers will participated in the consultations, according to an official statement issued.
The conference, which is being coordinated by the Science and Engineering Research Board, a statutory body under the Union Ministry of Science and Technology, will be presided over by Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Srivari Chandrasekhar.
According to the statement, the four priority areas are materials for sustainable energy, circular bio-economy, eco-innovations for energy transition, and scientific challenges and opportunities toward achieving a sustainable blue economy. The main theme of RIIG during India's G-20 presidency is "research and innovation for equitable society."
