Welcome to the ABP News LIVE for Tuesday, March 9, 2021: An encounter broke out in Tujjar area of Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla on Tuesday where 1 unidentified terrorist was killed by the security force. Several incriminating materials including arms and ammunition were recovered. Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is presenting the seventh budget in the state assembly on Tuesday morning. While presenting the Delhi Budget 2021-22, Sisodia announced free COVID-19 vaccines for Delhi citizens at government hospitals.
Encounter breaks out in Tujjar area of Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla district. As per initial reports, around 2-3 militants are said to be trapped in the area. Firing is underway and 1 unidentified terrorist has been killed. in the cross-firing. Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition were reovered.
"The party gave me a golden opportunity to serve this State for four years. I had never thought that I would get such an opportunity. The party has now decided that the opportunity to serve as CM should be given to someone else now," Trivendra Singh Rawat said during a presser after resigning as Uttarakhand CM.
A day after nine people, including three railway official, one RPF personnel died in a fire incident in Kolkata railway office, another fire incident was reported near Maa flyover in Kolkata. As per initial reports, 3 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. No loss of lives or property has been reported yet.

"Today I present this 'Deshbhakti Budget' in view of the Centre's celebrations of India's 75 years of independence with 75 weeks as 'Deshbhakti Mahotsav' starting on March 12. This Budget will focus on India's 75 as well as 100 years of independence," Manish Sisodia said.

So far, 16 areas have been identified as hotspots in Thane.
