The newly-elected MLAs of Telangana would take oath during the first session of the Legislative Assembly scheduled to be held on Saturday. Protem Speaker and AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi will administer oath to the legislators tomorrow, PTI reported
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi arrived at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's residence. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Congress general secretary KC Venugopal also arrived at Kharge's residence, ANI reported.
"The hip replacement surgery of former (Telangana) CM K Chandrasekhar Rao was successful. He is absolutely fine, and we are hopeful that he will be discharged in three days," says BRS leader Dasoju Srravan, as per PTI.
"Former CM of Telangana and BRS party national leader KCR's hip replacement surgery is successful. Almost in about 1 and a half hours, the doctors performed the most critical surgery. As for the reports of the doctors, the surgery was very successful...They're very confident that in about 2 to 3 days, he will be discharged and because of the blessings of the 4 crore population of Telangana, and also the almighty blessings, his operation is successful. We are hopeful that within about 6 to 8 weeks he we will be back in action in the service of Telangana, in the service of the people of Telangana," he told ANI.

The Border Security Force, in a joint operation with the Punjab Police, recovered a Pakistani drone in the Amritsar sector, the BSF Punjab Frontier said on Friday. According to officials, the drone was recovered from the farming field adjacent to Dhanoe Kalan village in Amritsar.
The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model-DJI Mavic 3 Classic, made in China), the BSF said in a statement, reported ANI.

PM Modi To Inaugurate 'Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 'Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023' on Friday in state capital Dehradun as the hill state looks to boost investment in the coming years, read the statemet released by his office. The PM will also address the gathering on the occasion.
The summit will be attended by thousands of investors and delegates from across the world. Several Union ministers and ambassadors of various countries along with leading industrialists, among others will also attend the event, the statement said.
ZPM Leader Lalduhoma To Be Sworn-In As Mizoram CM
Zoram People's Movement Leader Lalduhoma will be sworn-in as the chief minister of Mizoram on Friday, reported PTI. Several other leader of the ZPM which swept the recently concluded polls in the northeastern state.
The oath will be administered by Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati to Lalduhoma and other ministers.
The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Raj Bhavan complex if the weather is clear in Aizawl. In case it is not so, the programme will be shifted to the annexe building of the assembly, officials said, as per the PTI report.
Allahabad HC To Resume Hearing On Gyanvapi Mosque Case
The Allahabad High Court will on Friday resume the hearing on a petition filed by the Anjuman Intezamia Masjid Committee challenging the maintainability of a suit seeking "restoration" of a temple at the site of the Gyanvapi mosque.
The matter was listed before the bench on December 5 before the bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agrawal. But the matter was adjourned and posted it to December 7 when it was called for hearing.
After hearing the concerned parties on Thursday, Justice Rohit Ranjan Agrawal adjourned the hearing in the case and posted it for hearing on December 8.
