Curfew has been relaxed in Imphal East District of Manipur from 5 AM to 9 PM for 21st September 2023 in order to facilitate general public to purchase essential items, the state government said in a statement released on Thursday.
"Tamil Nadu govt has announced the sale of 30-year securities for Rs 3,000 and the re-issue of 6.92% Tamil Nadu State Development Loan 2046 for Rs 2,000 Cr in the form of stock to public by auction for an aggregate amount of Rs 5,000 Cr," a statement release by the government read.
Around 17 people have been injured in a boiler explosion in a factory in Uttarakhand's Haridwar, said SSP Pramendra Doval. Order for safety audit of the factory has been given and action will be taken if any irregularities are found, Doval said further to ANI.

The Vellore district administration in Tamil Nadu has suspended classes 1-5 in all schools of the district owing to heavy rains, as reported by the news agency IANS. Water logging is witnessed at Konavattam on the Chennai- Bengaluru highway. The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has announced heavy rains in six districts of Tamil Nadu. The sudden rain is due to the change in westerly winds, as per the weather department.
Rains are likely to lash Vellore, Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, and Ranipet for a short duration. The RMC, in its statement, also said that there will be heavy rains in nine districts of the state on Thursday. Puducherry and Karaikkal will also receive heavy rains. Chennai city is receiving heavy rains as of now.
A 21-year-old woman has alleged that a distant relative raped her in Bengaluru after abducting her from Lucknow, as reported by news agency IANS. The alleged incident took on August 23, but a case was registered on Wednesday when the woman claimed to have overcome the "mental trauma".

MP CM To Unveil 108 Feet Tall Statue Of Adi Shankaracharya In Omkareshwar Today:
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will unveil a grand statue of Hindu saint Adi Shankaracharya on September 21 in Omkareshwar, a temple town that houses one of the 12 Jyotirlings dedicated to Lord Shiva, news agency PTI reported citing an official on Tuesday. "Ekatmata Ki Pratima" (Statue of Oneness) is the name given to the 108-foot-tall statue dedicated to the 8th-century philosopher, an influential and revered figure in Hinduism. The majestic structure is perched atop the picturesque Mandhata hill on the Narmada river's banks in Omkareshwar, Khandwa district.
Chouhan was supposed to unveil the grand statue on September 18, but due to heavy rains in the area, the event was rescheduled for September 21, according to an official, as reported by PTI.
The multi-metal Statue of Oneness, designed by Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas and the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPSTDC), honours the legacy of Adi Shankaracharya and his profound teachings, he said, as per the report.
President Murmu To Inaugurate First UP International Trade Show On Thursday:
President Droupadi Murmu will visit Greater Noida on Thursday to inaugurate the first Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show.
The trade show will take place from September 21 to September 25.

Two-Day G20 Infrastructure Working Group Begins In MP's Khajuraho Today:
The fourth G20 Infrastructure Working Group meeting under the G20 India Presidency will begin in Khajuraho on Thursday. The meeting would be the last for India's G20 Presidency's Infrastructure Working Group (IWG).
According to a statement issued by India's finance ministry on Wednesday, the two-day event will bring together more than 54 delegates from G20 member countries, guest countries, and international organisations.
The forum will deliberate on key issues in continuation of the previous three IWG meetings, it said, adding that the meeting will be hosted and chaired by the Ministry of Finance, with co-chairs Australia and Brazil.
