Gesture Analysis For Sachin Vaze

Suspended police officer Sachin Vaze and businessman Mansukh Hiran met the day when the Scorpio in Hiran's possession was 'stolen', a CCTV footage confirming the same was found out. Later, Vaze had tried to destroy the evidence against him, investigators claimed on Friday.

This is the same SUV that was found near industrialist Mukesh Ambani's residence on February 25 containing gelatin sticks and a threat letter.


According to sources, NIA brought Sachin Vaze to Antilia where he was made to walk multiple times near the spot where the SUV was found. This will be used to conduct a gesture analysis wherein reportedly, his movement will be matched with CCTV footage of the man who was spotted wearing a PPE Kit near Antilia on the night when the SUV was parked.

India reports 40,953 new COVID19 cases, 23,653 recoveries, and 188 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry.

Sikkim, Kerala, Goa Lead Covid-19 Vaccination Race

The north-eastern state of Sikkim is leading the Covid-19 vaccination race amongst other states in the country. Till Friday morning, Sikkim had vaccinated 7% of its 69 lakh population by at least one dose of the vaccine, calculations based on government vaccination data showed.


The state is followed by Kerala and Goa who have administered at least one jab of Covid-19 vaccine to 4.84% and 4.48% of their population respectively. Kerala, which recently witnessed a fresh wave of infections, has so far vaccinated 17.27 lakh of its 3.57 crore population while nearly 71 thousand poeple in Goa have been vaccinated till date.

Registering an increase for the tenth day in a row, the total active caseload has reached 2,88,394, which now comprises 2.49 per cent of the total infections, while the recovery rate has further dropped to 96.12 per cent, the data stated.
