Floods have also inundated urban areas like Bajali, Darrang, Kamrup (Metro), Kokrajhar and Nalbari districts.

Bodies Of 3 Missing Kids Found Inside Parked Car In Maha, Police Say They Died Of Suffocation


Bodies of three missing children were found in Farukh Nagar in Maharashtra's Nagpur under the Panchpavali police station.

 




Amitesh Kumar, Police Commissioner said that the bodies of the missing children were found inside an old car parked near their home. The three children sat in the car while playing and locked the door from inside. They were missing after which a search was conducted. All three died of heat and suffocation.

Shinde, Uddhav Factions To Celebrate Shiv Sena Foundation Day For First Time Since Last Year's Split


The Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray factions are preparing to mark the Shiv Sena's foundation day on June 19 by organising events at two separate venues in Mumbai, both of which are likely to be marked by verbal duels to determine who is the true inheritor of founder late Bal Thackeray's mantle.


The Shiv Sena split in June last year following Shinde's rebellion against then-chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, and the party name and 'bow and arrow' symbol were later assigned to the former. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) was the name given to the Thackeray faction.


Trial Run Of Second Vande Bharat Express In Karnataka Today


On Monday, the South Western Railway will run a trial run of the Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Dharwad.


According to top officials of the South Western Railway (SWR), the train will be dedicated to the public on June 26.


According to the SWR, the trial run of the Vande Bharat Express, which will consist of eight coaches, will depart Bengaluru at 5.45 AM and arrive in Dharwad at 12.40 PM.


The semi-high-speed luxury train will depart Dharwad at 1.15 PM and arrive in Bengaluru at 8.10 PM.


The train will make three brief stops during the trial run in Yashwantpur, Davangere, and Hubballi.


G20 Meets On Tourism To Begin In Goa On Monday: 


The concluding and fourth meeting of the G20 tourism working group and tourism ministers' meeting will begin in Goa on Monday. V Vidyavathi, secretary of the Union tourism ministry, said at a press conference in Goa's Panaji on Sunday that the working group will pass the Goa tourism roadmap as a vehicle for achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs), PTI reported.


She stated that the ministers' meeting will include the G20 tourism ministers' declaration.


According to the official, the tourism ministry has made good progress in finalising the two key deliverables of the tourism working group.


She stated that the working group had previously met three times.


The meeting in Goa will take place from June 19 to June 22.


Pakistan: Punjab Anti-Corruption Body Summons Former PM Imran Khan In Layyah Land Scam Case


Imran Khan, Pakistan's former prime minister, has been summoned to appear before the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) of Punjab on Monday in connection with a case involving the fraudulent purchase of over 5,000 kanals (625 acres) of land.


The ACE has summoned Khan, his sister Uzma Khan, and her husband Ahad Majeed in the land corruption case in Pakistan's Punjab province's Layyah district, according to an ACE spokesperson on Saturday.


According to The Express Tribune newspaper, the 70-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief has been summoned to appear before the ACE headquarters on June 19, while Uzma and her husband have been summoned to appear before the ACE DG Khan.
