According to ANI, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on March 16 filed another charge-sheet against Popular Front of India naming five accused in the Nizamabad case against the banned outfit. The agency filed the charge sheet in a special NIA Court in Hyderabad.
The five accused named in the charge-sheet are Shaik Raheem alias Abdul Raheem, Shaik Vahaid Ali alias Abdul Wahed Ali, Jafrulla Khan Pathan, Shaik Riyaz Ahmed and Abdul Waris. They have been charge-sheeted under sections 120B, 153A of IPC and Sections 13(1)(b), 18, 18 A and 18 B of the UA(P)Act, 1967.

The body of an unidentified woman was found inside a plastic drum found lying at SMVT railway station last night, as reported by the news agency ANI. CCTV footage of three people carrying the drum and leaving it at the railway station is being examined by police.
"Body found in drum in Bengaluru | One Nawab along with 7 others killed the woman. They broke the victim's legs to make sure the body fits inside a drum and sealed it. India To Host SCO Tourism Ministers’ Meet In Varanasi Today
India will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Tourism Ministers’ Meeting on March 17-18 in Kashi (Varanasi), which has been designated as the first cultural capital of the SCO. India is the current chair of the SCO. During the Tourism Ministers’ (TMM) meeting, a joint action plan on the development of cooperation in tourism among SCO member countries will be adopted, the Ministry of Tourism said in a statement. The TMM will be preceded by the second Tourism Expert Working Group Meeting on March 14-15. During the meeting, the dignitaries will discuss and finalise joint action plan before it is adopted at the SCO Tourism Ministers’ meeting on 17 March.
“The Joint Action Plan to be discussed during the 2nd EWG meeting will include actions relating to Promotion of the SCO tourism brand, Promotion of the cultural heritage of the SCO Member States in tourism, Sharing and Exchange of information and digital technology in tourism, promoting of mutual cooperation in medical and health tourism, improving the quality of services,” the Ministry of Tourism said.
The eight-member countries of SCO represent 42% of the world population and 25% of the global Gross domestic product (GDP). According to the Ministry, there is immense potential in the region which can be promoted by boosting awareness among SCO countries.
Annual Lucknow Book Fair From Today
The 10th edition of the annual Lucknow book fair is set to begin from March 17 to March 26 at Ravindralaya ground. The theme for this year’s book fair will be the G20 forum, as a means to raise awareness on the subject. “We will have all kinds of titles starting from Amar Chitra Katha editions to competitive exam books for students and children, we will also set up activities for the younger visitors,” said Manoj Singh Chandel, organiser.
He added that there would be Hindi and English publishers and stalls set up from across the country, including one Osho Tapoban from Kathmandu, Nepal.
