She had filed her nomination from the much-hyped Nandigram Assembly constituency earlier in the day. She further alleged that there was no local police or SP to protect her and has sustained an injury to her left leg.

Shoe hurled at the convoy of Governor Dhankhar

While Governor Dhankhar was leaving from SSKM hospital, a shoe was thrown at him as slogans of "Dhankhar Go Back BJP Go Back" were being raised.


Mamata Banerjee's supporters sat on a dharna inside the hospital in front of ABP News reporters. They alleged that BJP had played a role in the attack on CM Mamata, accusing supporters of Subhendu Adhikari for the act.

TMC Workers Raise 'Go Back' Slogans Against Governor Dhankhar

According to the latest reports, TMC workers have opposed the presence of governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. They have raised slogans of "Go Back" against him. For the uninitiated, CM Mamata and Governor Dhankar have somewhat been at the opposite ends of issues pertaining to the state with the later levelling several allegations against the government.

West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankhar has reached SSKM Hospital where CM Mamata Banerjee is being treated after she sustained injuries alleging planned manhandling. Notably, both have not exactly shared a cordial relationship as the governor alleged a state of lawlessness in the state.

The team of 5 doctors constituted at SSKM Hospital includes a cardiologist, a doctor in the neuro department, orthopedic and medical specialist. A portable X-ray machine is kept ready for the CM, a wheelchair is also kept outside if needed.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Assembly in the assembly on Wednesday claimed to take the  elderly people from Delhi to Ayodhya after construction of Ram Temple.


As quoted by news agency ANI, CM in the assembly said, "I'm a devotee of Hanuman who was a devotee of Lord Ram. So I'm devotee of both. Lord Ram was the king of Ayodhya. It is said that everything was good during his rule. There was no sorrow. There was every facility. It was called 'Ram Rajya', which is a concept. After construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya, we will take the elderly people from Delhi to Ayodhya for darshan."

Delhi Police Arrest Two Including Dutch National Maninderjit Singh In Connection With Red Fort Violence

Delhi Police Crime Branch on Tuesday morning arrested two persons -- Maninderjit Singh (a Dutch national settled in Birmingham, UK) and Khempreet Singh in connection with the Jan 26 Red Fort violence case. 


"Maninderjit is a habitual criminal and was arrested from Delhi airport when he was trying to flee on forged travel documents. Accused Khempreet had assaulted police personnel on duty inside the walls of Red Fort with spear," Delhi Police Crime Branch said.

Maharashtra: Five-Day 'Janta Curfew’ Imposed In Jalgaon From March 11

As the novel coronavirus cases continue to surge in Maharashtra, the administration on Tuesday announced a five-day 'Janta Curfew’ in the state’s Jalgaon district beginning March 11.


District Collector Abhijit Raut said the ‘Janta Curfew’ will be imposed from 8 p.m. on March 11 till 8 a.m. on March 15 in the Municipal Corporation limits in Jalgaon. He, however, added that emergency services, Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) and other departments’ exams will be exempted.
