PM Modi To Hold Roadshow In Patna On May 12
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to conduct a roadshow in Patna on May 12 in support of the BJP candidates contesting for the Patliputra and Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituencies.
As per IANS, Bihar BJP President and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary disclosed the itinerary of the event on Wednesday, mentioning that the incumbent BJP MPs Ravi Shankar Prasad and Ram Kripal Yadav, also the party's nominees for the Patna Sahib and Patliputra constituencies respectively, will be in attendance during the roadshow.
Choudhary highlighted that this roadshow marks the first instance of such an event being led by a Prime Minister.
The roadshow is scheduled to take place on the evening of May 12 at the Dak Bungalow Chowk area. Apart from locals, people from the entire state are expected to gather in Patna to witness the roadshow, the Deputy CM highlighted.
Delhi CM Kejriwal To Hold Meeting With AAP Leaders On Sunday: Party Sources
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has called for a meeting with all AAP MLAs on Sunday, as per the party sources. The meeting will be held at the Chief Minister's residence in Civil Lines, they confirmed.
"It is a key meeting and will also see discussions on the Lok Sabha polls in Delhi on May 25," a party source said, PTI quoted saying.
On Friday, the Supreme Court granted interim bail until June 1 to the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in connection with a money laundering case associated with the purported excise policy scam.
However, he is required to surrender and return to custody on June 2.
