At least 902 civilians have been killed and 1,459 injured in Ukraine as of midnight local time on March 19, the United Nations Human Rights Office (OHCHR) said on Sunday.
Most of the casualties were from explosive weapons such as shelling from heavy artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems, and missile and airstrikes, OHCHR said.
Ten million people - more than a quarter of the population - have now fled their homes in Ukraine due to Russia's "devastating" war, news agency AFP quoted United Nations refugees chief as saying on Sunday.
"I'm ready for negotiations with Putin, but if they fail, it could mean World War III," The Kyiv Independent quoted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as saying.
Zelenskyy said that he's ready to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as he was "ready for the last two years," but warned that if negotiation attempts fail, it could lead to a new World War.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting with his party MLAs from Punjab via videoconference on Sunday. The BJP legislature party meeting decided to select the next chief minister of Uttarakhand is expected to be held in Dehradun on Monday.
"The party's central observers for Uttarakhand Rajnath Singh and Meenakshi Lekhi may arrive a day earlier on Sunday or on the same day to attend the meeting," state BJP spokesman Shadab Shams informed news agency PTI.
Despite his loss by Khatima, Pushkar Singh Dhami remains the frontrunner for the role of the chief minister. Other possible candidates for the top job include Chaubattakhal MLA Satpal Maharaj, Shrinagar MLA Dhan Singh Rawat, and Rajya Sabha member Anil Baluni.
Dhami is expected to be re-elected as chief minister because he is youthful and active, and also because the BJP campaigned in his name and won large, according to insiders in the BJP's state unit.
Meanwhile, Manipur caretaker Chief Minister N Biren Singh and caretaker CM of Goa & BJP leader Pramod Sawant arrived at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday to meet the central leaders.
Social media was abuzz with speculations that the BJP Parliamentary Board might announce the next chief ministers of Goa and Manipur in the next two-three days.
Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Stating Moscow is trying to starve his country’s cities into submission, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that continuing the invasion would exact a toll on Russia for “generations”.
Zelenskyy accused the Kremlin in an overnight video address of deliberately creating “a humanitarian catastrophe”, AP reported. The Ukrainian President once again appealed to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to meet with him to prevent more bloodshed.
The remarks came after Russia held a mass rally in support of its bogged-down forces.
