New Delhi: A number of special schemes are being run by the Central and state Governments through which financial assistance is provided to women belonging to economically weaker sections. In this context, the Bihar government has launched a scheme through which Rs 3600 is being given to women in the state and the money is transferred directly to the account.
Under the Laxmibai Social Security Pension Scheme launched by the Bihar government, every woman from economically weaker sections of the society will get a financial assistance of Rs 300 per month, that is Rs 3600 per year. Women above the age of 18 years can avail the benefits of this scheme.
The Laxmibai Social Security Pension Scheme has been launched by the Bihar government only for the benefit of the local women. In addition, women under the BPL (below poverty line) category of the state can avail the benefits of this government scheme, run by the Social Security Department of Bihar.
Who can get the benefits?
An amount of ₹300 per month will be provided under this government scheme. Women above the age of 18 years are eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme. The annual income of the woman's family should be ₹60000 or less to avail the benefits of this scheme. In this scheme, a beneficiary can apply online or offline.
Documents needed
To apply for this scheme, a beneficiary must have an Aadhaar card, residence certificate, BPL ration card, a valid mobile number, bank account details, passport size photographs, an email ID, identity card, husband's death certificate, age certificate and income certificate.
