New Delhi: A guard in Chhatarpur was assaulted by a man when he asked the accused to not enter the bank premises without wearing a mask.
As per news agency ANI, when the guard tried to stop the man, he hit him in response which also led to the bank employees present at the spot trying to intervene.
The accused got so angry on being interrupted, he called his associates and ransacked the bank and assaulted the staff, ANI reported.
The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the bank premises. Bank officials have also provided the CCTV footage to the police.
On receiving a complaint from the bank, a case has been registered by the Delhi Police in this matter.
Delhi Police told ANI that a case has been registered and assured that appropriate action will be taken against the accused.
