New Delhi: Rightwing social media activist Tajinder Pal S Bagga contacted National-level shooter Pushpa Gupta, who sells noodles on roadside in order to earn a living, after ABP News aired her story in its ‘viral sach’ segment.

The social media activist on his Facebook page wrote,” There was a story covered by ABP news on April 22nd, 2016 about National level shooter, Pushpa Gupta, selling noodles on the roadside in Gujarat. You can watch the story here:

With this post he has also given his bank account details so that interested people can come forward for Pushpa’s help.

21-year-old Pushpa has won gold and silver medals in Gujarat state championship. She is a student of B.Com final year but lack of funds have forced her to leave the ‘expensive’ sport and sell noodles from a cart in order to earn a living and support her family as well.

She has hung her shiny medals on the food stall which shows, if given chance in future she could get many more for India. But Pushpa discontinued her practice as the rifles which is needed for shooting are very expensive and her family could not afford it.

In year 2013, she had joined the NCC and took training in shooting. In the same year Pushpa represented Gujarat and won a Gold and a silver medal.
