New Delhi: ABP LIVE and BIG FM have teamed up for their latest campaign 'Corona Ko Dhona Hai-Dilli Ke Dhaakad'. The objective of the campaign is to eliminate the fear and keep the people of Delhi-NCR in a positive frame of mind in order to fight and overcome the ongoing pandemic. The campaign led by ABP News anchors and all five Delhi RJs of BIG FM that include RJ Khurafati Nitin, RJ Jassi, RJ Richa Anirudh, RJ Yogi and RJ Simran shall spearhead the initiative on television, radio and social media.

WHO has declared Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as a global pandemic. Although the situation in many countries is extremely critical, India on the other hand, is trying to control and overcome it through our warriors who are on the field and with the support of the public who have locked themselves in their home 24X7 to stop community spread.

Highlighting efforts of the citizens along with these warriors, the campaign will be divided into different segments such as Dhaakad Warriors, Individual Dhaakad’s, Helping Hand, Mental Health & Anxiety, Season change and Health, Family Time, Kids Life, Technology, Hope and Happiness, Fake News and Client Centric Stories under which content will be created and aired. From showcasing the incredible stories of people from the public service sector like policeman, doctors etc. who are there on ground 24X7, encouraging people to stop spreading fake news, appreciating those who are following the instructions of lockdown, will be spoken about at length and lauded by the RJs. As part of the Biggest Digital Dhaakad Get Together, the initiative will see one RJ, every week, interact with lucky listeners at home with a purpose to entertain and have a good conversation with them on Google Meet.

Speaking on the campaign and the entire situation, RJ Jassi said, “It really sad to see where the world is moving towards. The rising number of cases is alarming. But this is the only time where we all need to be together with each other no matter what. I really appreciate BIG FM that has come up with this great initiative like this which is the need of the hour. Apart from providing correct information, in these testing times, we are trying to instil patience and resilience among our listeners who are looking forward to get out of this lockdown situation.”

As a part of the initiative, the radio station is not only trying to reach out to people who are in distress and connecting them with the authorities, but also seeking help from mental health experts who can guide them in the right direction. Connecting with people from various walks of life, who are voluntarily coming forward to extend a helping hand, the campaign will be extensively promoted across on-air and digital.
