In the final leg of ABP News flagship e-Shikhar Sammelan, Union Minister for Highways and Transport Nitin Gadkari participated in a interactive session where he started of the conversation on plight of migrant workers amid the nationwide lockdown due to Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
While speaking to Shobhana Yadav, BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that Modi government has taken many decision for the welfare of the nation. He said even in times of Covid-19, government is running Shramik Special trains for stranded migrant workers. However, rejecting his claims, Congress leader Manish Tiwari said that decisions claimed by BJP as good were actually painful for countrymen and last one year has been disastrous.
Participating in another interactive session of ABP flagship e-Shikhar Sammelan, BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Congress leader Manish Tewari spoke about various initiatives taken by one year of Modi government 2.0 and its pros and cons.

Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju said that a border row with China is not new. Such skirmishes take place because there is no clearly demarcated boundary.

Congress spokesperson Rohan Gupta said that Rahul Gandhi was the first to alert the government about Coronavirus. "He tweeted in February but the government did not take it seriously and because of that the entire country is suffering the consequences.The government left the workers to die on the streets in lockdown," said Gupta.

Speaking on spat with China, Prakash Javadekar said that India knows how to protect its interests. There was also a dispute about Doklam earlier, but that issue ended in two months.



On the statement of US President Donald Trump that PM Modi has a bad mood because of the standoff, Javadekar said that he would prefer not commenting on this."Our foreign ministry will respond to this," he said.
