West Bengal ABP-CNX Opinion Poll 2021 Results: Assembly elections in West Bengal are going to be held from March 27 in 8 phases. The ruling Trinamool Congress, BJP and Congress-Left alliance will be contesting in the state elections for 294 seats.

While BJP is constantly boasting of overthrowing Mamata Banerjee's government in the upcoming state elections, the saffron party is being constantly besieged by Mamata Banerjee over many key issues.

ABP News along with CNX conducted a survey to know who people of West Bengal want to see as their future Chief Minister post the elections.

As per the survey, Mamata Banerjee is still the most favourite for the CM candidates and her popularity has increased since the last ABP-CNX survey.

Dilip Ghosh of the  BJP is the second most favourite CM candidate and his popularity also increased by 5.49%. This is probably because of Sourav Ganguly, who was the third most favourite CM candidate in the first opinion poll, since there is no concrete news of him joining politics he was left out of the overall options.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), despite having an array of leaders to pick from, is likely to go in the West Bengal Assembly Polls 2021 without a Chief Ministerial face against Mamata Banerjee. They are leading their charge with their tried and tested trick, central leadership campaigning vigorously for the polls without a face.

ABP News along with CNX asked the people whether BJP will gain if it declares CM candidate. 61.17 per cent of people agreed that BJP will have major gains if they declare a CM face for West Bengal Assembly Polls.
