Honda launched the 2018 Amaze in May this year at an introductory price of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom India) for the base E MT (petrol) variant. Since then, the sub-4m sedan has been the best-selling model for the carmaker, registering an average monthly sales of about 10,000 units. So far, Honda has managed to dispatch nearly 30,000 units (as on 1 August, 2018).
