The Brutale 800 is the most affordable MV Agusta motorcycle available in the country today.






The second generation MV Agusta Brutale 800 is on sale in India today onwards and you can book it from any of MV Agusta's three dealerships located in Pune, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru. You can also book the bike on www.motoroyale.in. Deliveries for the 2017 Brutale 800 will begin from August 19. MV Agusta already has 9 bookings for the bike. The Brutale 800 costs Rs 15.59 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India)  




As part of its 2017 update, the oval-shaped headlamp gets a LED ring. The floating tail section is completely new and the new bike looks compact than its predecessor. The instrument console has been revised for better readability. Fuel tank capacity is 16.5-litres while dry weight is 175 kilos.


The Brutale 800 comes with a 798cc inline triple-cylinder engine that is good for 110PS @ 11,500rpm and 83Nm of torque @ 7600rpm. Claimed top speed is 237kmph.




The lightweight trellis frame gets fully-adjustable 43mm Marzocchi upside down forks at the front and fully adjustable Sachs monoshock damper at the rear.


Braking duties are handled by dual 320mm floating discs radially clamped to Brembo four-piston callipers upfront and a 220mm disc with Brembo two-piston callipers at the back with Bosch ABS. Tyres are Pirelli Diablo Rosso 120/70 R17 at the front and 180/55 R17 at the rear.  




When launched the Brutale 800 will face competition from the Triumph Street Triple 765 S and Kawasaki Z900.
