This was reportedly the last time Veeru Devgan was spotted in public when he appeared at the screening of son Ajay Devgn's recent releases 'Total Dhamaal'. Wife Veena Devgn also accompanied the husband.the

Reportedly, Ajay never wanted to be an actor but it was Veeru Devgan who pushed him to become one. In an interview, Devgn had said that as a teenager, he was always interested in making and editing films and had started assisting Shekhar Kapur on a film and few commercials after college. One day, when he came home, he saw his father Veeru Devgn in a conversation with director Sandesh Kohli, who was planning to make ‘Phool Aur Kaante’. When Veeru told Ajay that he wanted him to act in the film, he flatly refused as he was not that interested in acting, but was practically pushed into making his acting debut with the film.
