Around 100 Met officers were a part of the London’s pride march this year, but it became a visual treat for the crowd when Phil Adlem went down on his knees and proposed marriage to his boyfriend Jonathan Sammons.
The incident went viral and the videos and photographs of the proposal spread like wildfire all over the internet. Everyone was wishing them good luck for their blissful future.The Met LGBT Network shared the image of the incident on Twitter.
The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, also congratulated them on Twitter.
According to media reports, Adlem was planning to ask his now fiance Sammons for marriage from a long time but he was not able to think of a right time. But, during the London Pride, he spontaneously thought of proposing his boyfriend and it has now become the most special moment of his life.

A similar incident also took place during the annual gay parade celebrations when Sam Philpot, asked his boyfriend Martin Coughlan, for marriage. Both of them are Police officers and wants to spend their future with each other. Their emotional moment was also filmed by many.
Reportedly, Philpot was nervous and asked for advice from his seniors who supported and helped him to make his proposal special for his partner.
