Sara Ali Khan has been working hard to stay in shape before the holiday season when people tend to overeat by biting into cakes and other treats. This tends to add to their weight, hurting the success they have made on their weight loss journey.
A few days ago, the 27-year-old posted a video with a hilarious message in which she was seen working out hard at the gym. "Monday motivation," the caption stated. "Actually [just kidding] just prepping for Christmas vacation." The 'Kedarnath' star also uploaded a cake emoji, implying that all of her hard work is to allow her to enjoy the impending festivities and indulge a little.
The star once again captioned one of her latest exercise videos with a self-deprecating remark. The answer is yes. She tagged her trainer Karan Jaising, who was featured in the training video, in which Sara totally killed it with her high-intensity exercises. Check it out.
Wearing a yellow sports bra and a pair of patterned flowery trousers, Sara performed jump squats, which require — as the name suggests — jumping and then assuming a squat position. It was followed by more squats performed by the actress while holding dumbbells in her hands.
Next, while maintaining in plank position, she did some pushups and followed it up with some upper body stretching using gymnastic rings. The performer pulled herself forward and then pushed herself back while clutching the rings, working out the muscles in her arms.
Gymnastic rings are supposed to increase upper-body strength and muscle growth. Suspension straps, as they are known, allow you to adjust the height of the rings, giving you the freedom to choose the type of exercise you wish to complete.
Sara was seen heaving and exhaling during the session, managing her breathwork such that she did not become fatigued.
Midweek workout motivation is vital, because even if you are a frequent gym goer, you may encounter a period of lag and lethargy immediately before the weekend. It is necessary to push through this emotion. We hope Sara continues to post informative fitness videos.
