The kid was then run over by an SUV coming from behind before the driver could apply the brakes.
Luckily, the boy got up to the ground with only a minor injury to his face, reported media.
However, the mother of the boy, who had been driving the three-wheeled vehicle, continued without noticing that her son had fallen off from the back of the vehicle.
According to media reports, the mother finally found her child with the help of local police officers. She was fined 100 yuan (Rs 1000 approx) for illegally transporting people in a vehicle meant for only for transporting goods.
