New Delhi: It was Valentino's spring 2023 haute couture show in Paris and a video has surfaced online which shows supermodel Kristen McMenamy tripping and falling in stilettos. After tripping, the model just takes off her heels, gets up and continues to walk holding the heels in her hand.
In the viral video, industry stalwart McMenamy, who has been in showbiz since the 80s first wobbled as she was having difficulty walking in the stilettos. After losing her balance totally, the model fell down, after which he took off her heels.
Though she continued walking, the video shows that she was having some difficulty in doing so as her foot might have gotten injured after the fall.
The video has been shared by many profiles and netizens have also poured in their comments on the video. Some criticise the heels while others have commented on her walk. One of the users wrote, "She can’t even walk herself we can blame the heels this time I’m afraid lol."
A few also marvelled at her as she continued her walk even after tripping down. One of them wrote, "It’s not easy to walk after twisting your ankle like that."
A third user wrote, "By the look on her face I can tell she probably already told them the shoes didn’t fit and they made her wear them anyway only for this to be the moment. y’all have no idea how the fashion shows can be hell backstage"
On Twitter, the video has received close to 6 million views. The supermodel donned a white off-the-shoulder, net-embellished cocktail dress for the event. It was paired with vibrant pink gloves. She also posted pictures of her look on Instagram before and after the fall.
