From fruity mocktails to icy smoothies and classic lemonades, to exciting cocktails, here is a list of recipes that are sure to beat the heat and keep you feeling refreshed all season long.
1) Thai Lemonade (By Chef Ram Bahadur Budhathoki, Head Chef- Chowman Chain of Chinese Restaurants)
Ingredients:
- Mojito Syrup- 30ml
- Lime Juice- 15ml
- Mint & Basil Leaves- 10 Each
- Ginger Julienne – 10 strips
- Soda
- Garnish - Lime leaf
Method:
- Crush some mint, basil leaves & Ginger, and then add mojito syrup, lemon juice, ice cubes and add the soda slowly from top
- Garnish with fresh lemon leaf
2) Sea Breeze (By Chef Ram Bahadur Budhathoki, Head Chef- Chowman Chain of Chinese Restaurants)
Ingredients:
- Coconut Syrup -10ml
- Blue Curacao Syrup-5ml
- Lime juice - 15ml
- Pineapple Juice -90ml
- Garnish- Lime Leaf
- Soda - 20ml
Method:
- Add coconut syrup, blue curacao syrup, lime juice & 60ml pineapple juice and mix it well.
- Add the soda from the top and then add the remaining 30 ml of pineapple juice on top.
- Garnish it with lemon leaf.
3. Summer Blossom (By Steve D’Silval, Restaurant Manager, Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel)
Ingredients:
- Cranberry juice-120ml
- Mango juice-60ml
- Star anise-2pc
- Ice
Method:
- Take a wine or champagne glass
- Pour cranberry juice, layered with mango juice blended with star anise
- Put some ice and keep a star anise on the top
4. Pom Pom Lime (By Nishant K Gaurav - Lead Mixologist for Guppy)
Ingredients:
- Gin: 45ml
- Mastiha: 15ml
- Pomegranate Cordial: 30ml
- Mint Leaf: 4-5 leaves
- Lemon Juice: 10 ml
- Stillabunt: 3-4 drops
Method:(stirred)
- Take coupe glass and keep for chilling
- Add all ingredients in cocktail shaker
- Shake well with cube ice and stain into other shaker for dry shake
- Do the hard dry shake to get creamy consistency
- Strain with fine strainer into chilled glass
- Garnish with print rice paper and mint leaf
