Srichchha Pradhan was crowned Miss Nepal World 2023 in the pageant's grand finale on Saturday, defeating 23 other contestants. At the 27th edition of the pageant, held at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Centre in Lalitpur, Raina Majgaiya and Prasiddhy Shah were crowned Miss Nepal Earth and Miss Nepal International, respectively. This year, in addition to the main titles, The Hidden Treasure (THT), which has been organising Miss Nepal since 1994, awarded 12 other titles.
Aishworya Shrestha won two titles: Miss Intellectual Kathmandu Post and Miss Fitness Queen Dabur Honey. Grishma Adhikari was named Berger Miss Glamour, Pragya Bajracharya was named Brij Cement Miss Confident, Suhani Khadka Chhetri was named JMusic Miss Multimedia, Unnati Gurung was named Yeti Airlines Woman with Wings, Pritika Khadka was named Creative D Studio Miss Photogenic, and Aayushma Baral was named THT Beauty with a Purpose.
All three main title holders won additional titles. Majgaiya was named Cetaphil Miss Healthy Skin and Farmasi Face of the Year, while Pradhan was named Farmasi Face of the Year and Miss DHI. Shah was named Miss Popular Choice, which automatically placed her in the Top 11.
Pradhan, 25, graduated from Bennington College in Vermont, US, with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, The Kathmandu Post reported. She delivered a short speech on 'Women Entrepreneurship' in the competition's final round. Pradhan, the founder of Deego Pranali, has referred to female entrepreneurship as "the secret to a flourishing economy" in Nepal.
Majgaiya, a Dang pilot, delivered a moving speech on 'Beauty and Positivity' for the final. She discussed how being beautiful and positive stems from one's mindset. In the final round, 25-year-old Shah, the daughter of the first Miss Nepal, Ruby Rana Shah, spoke on "Tourism Development Possibilities." She emphasised the importance of promoting places in Tarai as tourist destinations in order to boost Nepal's tourism.
