For the first one - the stereotypes do tend to make a mockery or caricature of our mannerisms and culture I wont lie - which in return impacts our own perception of ourself. Bihar is an ancient place with a very rich culture, but when you get mocked so much it becomes hard to appreciate it. For the second misery porn type - all I can say is that the way media covers bihar is very similar to how the western media portrays india. there are good things but they dont bring in clicks, so instead what you see all the time is just a depressing bnch of articles out of here. That being said, Bihar does have its problems and it really needs to work on it - no excuses there."
