New Delhi: Nigerian musician Rema is all set for his India tour where he will be performing in three Indian cities. On Tuesday, the musician was spotted landing in Mumbai for his 'Rema Calm Down' India Tour. At the airport, the 23-year-old artist was greeted in grand Maharashtrian style. Several paparazzi accounts have published videos of him dressed in an uber-cool green hooded jacket and pants.


Additionally, a number of fans also gathered to greet him upon his arrival in India. He arrived at Mumbai airport and went straight to his hotel where he was greeted with dhol, bhangra, dandiya, and a tikka. Rema too joined up with the dancers and mimicked their actions, performing dandiya with them.






As the paparazzi photographed him, the musician also took out his phone and recorded a video of them. "Finally! The love is HUGE wow," expressed the singer sharing a couple of videos on his Instagram Story. Additionally, he also shared pictures which depict all the love and respect that he received in India.








The singer also shared a picture of himself wearing a turban, and wrote in another post, "Ok I need an Indian Name asap!"


Speaking of Rema, his real name is Divine Ikubor and he became a global sensation after his hit single 'Calm Down'. The 'Rema Calm Down' India Tour will happen in three Indian cities. It will begin on May 12th at JLN Stadium in New Delhi, while the next show will be on May 13 at NSCI Dome in Mumbai, and the tour is scheduled to conclude on May 14 at Prism in Hyderabad.


Reportedly, Rema would be wearing an outfit designed by renowned designer Manish Malhotra for his shows. The famous song 'Calm Down' which also features Selena Gomez, has approximately one billion views on Selena and Rema's YouTube channels combined.
