Harnaaz Sandhu crowned R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States as Miss Universe 2022. Harnaaz made history in December 2021 by being India's third winner of the coveted crown. Sushmita Sena and Lara Dutta had won the title for the country before the 22-year-old beauty pageant champion. Harnaaz's illustrious reign came to an end today, and her final walk on the Miss Universe platform was an emotional one.

The actress broke down in tears and delivered an emotional statement to the audience and the new Miss Universe. Harnaaz had an 'Oops' moment as well, tripping on the stage. But, like a true queen, she immediately recovered.

On Sunday (IST), Harnaaz Sandhu did her final walk as Miss Universe before crowning R'bonney Gabriel of the United States as her successor. Harnaaz Sandhu, dressed in black, choked back tears as she blew kisses in the air and even tripped on stage before quickly recovering.

Her voiceover played during the emotional moment, "I was 17 years old when I first entered the stage, and I've longed to be Miss Universe ever since.  I've been given the megaphone on a worldwide stage to present the topic of menstrual equity before world leaders asking them to keep this conversation ongoing."

The video shows an emotional Harnaaz greeting the audience at the Miss Universe pageant. She trips on her gown at about 00:34 and rapidly recovers, showcasing her beauty and confidence on stage.

Harnaaz's black gown for the event was another eye-catching moment on stage. She praised her predecessors, Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta. The low-cut embroidered ensemble included photos of their pageant win.
