Maha Shivratri 2022: The festival of Mahashivratri (Maha Shivratri 2022) is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is celebrated on the day Chaturdashi of the Krishna Paksha of Falgun month. There is a religious belief that on the day of Mahashivaratri Lord Shiva appears as Jyotirlinga. It is also believed that on this day Goddess Parvati was married to Lord Shiva.
