Hrithik Roshan's much-appreciated look in the upcoming film "Fighter" is the result of intense training that began almost 5-6 months prior to the film's shoot, according to his trainer Kris Gethin. Kris, who has been working with Hrithik for over a decade, shared insights into the actor's dedicated fitness routine, highlighting the absence of cheat days for several months.

Recounting his initial encounter with Hrithik in 2011, Kris admitted he had never heard of the actor before receiving a call from his team. "I had never really heard of him, but when I met him for the first time, probably a month after that phone call, it was very special," Kris shared with Bollywood Hungama. He added, "I had no idea who he was".

Despite being 50 years old, Hrithik's physique for "Fighter" exhibited a remarkable ability to "change and adapt like it did 12-13 years ago," according to Kris. He noted that Hrithik's body appeared ageless, emphasizing the actor's prioritization of health over mere aesthetics. Kris explained, "It’s because he has prioritised his health over aesthetics, and when you focus on health, the aesthetics come very easily."

Addressing Hrithik's disciplined dietary habits, Kris mentioned the absence of cheat days where the actor avoids consuming "any bad food" for extended periods. Even on designated cheat days, Hrithik opts for larger portions of his usual "clean food." Kris recounted an instance during a trip to Dubai for New Year's when Hrithik, despite being urged to stay up and party, retired to bed by 9:30 pm. The next morning, he was actively running on the beach by 6 am.

Kris also shared insights into his training sessions with Vicky Kaushal, describing the actor as a "high achiever" who takes his work and workouts seriously. Despite operating on minimal sleep due to the demanding shoot schedule and workouts, Kris commended Vicky for his dedication, noting that he has never complained about the rigorous routine.
