Ingredients For Making Radish, Carrot & Cauliflower Pickle



  • Cauliflower 500 gm: Chopped into big pieces

  • Carrots 500 gm: Chopped into long square pieces
    Radish 500 gm: Cut into long square pieces.

  • Green chillies: 10 pieces cut into large slices.

  • Mustard oil: Half cup.

  • Asafoetida: A pinch.

  • Mustard: Two tablespoons made into a paste

  • Salt to taste.

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp.

  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp.

  • Lemon juice three teaspoons.

  • Water 


Recipe For Making Radish, Carrot & Cauliflower Pickle


1- First add 1 teaspoon of salt to a large container with water and let it come to a boil.
2- When the water starts boiling, add chopped carrots, cauliflower and radish. Boil it for about 5 minutes.
3- Now turn off the gas and cover it for 10 minutes and let it sit in water. 
4- Now strain the vegetables with a strainer and remove them in a container.
5- Now spread these vegetables on a clean cloth or newspaper and keep them for drying in the sun throughout the day. 
6- After drying the vegetables in the sun for a full 1 day, add oil to a pan and heat it on medium flame.
7- Turn off the gas after the oil is heated up and now let it cool. 
8- Now add salt, mustard, asafoetida, turmeric, red chilli powder, chopped green chillies and vegetables to the oil. 
9- Now mix lemon juice into it and store it in a glass container and keep it in the sun for 2-3 days.
10- A mixed pickle of radish, carrot, cauliflower and chilli is ready You can eat it with paranthas, roti or tahri (dish made with rice and vegetables)
