  • 1 teaspoon ghee

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1 chakra flower

  • A piece of cinnamon

  • 4 cloves

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/2 onion chopped

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1 tomato finely chopped

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 cup rajma (soaked in water overnight)

  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli

  •  3 tsp coriander leaves

  • 1 tsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  •  1 cup basmati rice (soaked in water for 10 minutes)

  • 2 cups water


Process of making Rajma Pulao


Here's know how you can make rajma pulao. To make rajma rice, first heat ghee in a pressure cooker. When the ghee is hot, fry it with bay leaf, pepper, chakra flowers, cinnamon, cloves, and cumin seeds. Then add ginger garlic paste and then fry till golden, add tomatoes, mix well and cook for 3 minutes.


Keep in mind that rajma is soaked overnight and boil it. Then add coriander powder garam masala, turmeric, Kashmiri chilli, salt rice and mix well, then add coriander leaves and close the lid of the cooker, wait until 1 whistle and your rajma pulao is ready.
