Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar, also known as the 'Temple City of India', is set to host the captivating narratives of 'Legends of Ancient Bharat and Beyond: Inspiring Lived Experience in the 21st Century'. The 10th edition of the Kalinga Literary Festival (KLF), weaving together a diverse tapestry of literary forms and encompassing poetry, politics, art, and athletics, will be held at the Swosti Premium from February 9-11.


The festival's core theme, 'Legends of Ancient Bharat and Beyond', will resonate with the collective rhythm of over 300 esteemed speakers, including poets, musicians, artists, and performers. With a respectful celebration of our shared heritage, the festival aspires to reignite the flame of inspiration drawn from the wisdom of our ancestors, showcasing its profound relevance in the contemporary world.

Over three transformative days, the Kalinga Literary Festival will craft a narrative celebrating the nuanced relationships between literature and liberty, the ethos of a republic, the kaleidoscope of cultural diversity, and the foundations of social equity. Discussions will traverse the foundations of democracy, resonances of cultural nationalism, and the dynamic voices of Generation Y Deliberations in Indian languages, explorations of the publishing industry, and reflections on mythology will be complemented by dialogues on media influence, market dynamics, and the representation of children, women, and transgender individuals in literature.
