Do you spend more time completing kitchen chores? Do you face difficulties while working in the kitchen? If so, you can deal with it with simple hacks. You can even correct your mistakes and save some time.

What to do if you over-soaked red kidney beans (Rajma): Don't worry if you've oversoaked Rajma by mistake. First, wash and clean the rajma thoroughly. Then put it in the pressure cooker. Now add water and add a teaspoon of salt to it. Then wait for it to cool down until the first whistle. Then add a cup full of ice cubes to it. Rajma melts quickly with salt and ice cubes. Then place the cooker on the stove until you get the second whistle. Then simmer down the gas and cook for 5-7 minutes. This hack will make your job easier in cooking the perfect rajma.

The excess water left after boiling the rice: If you are faced with this situation, put the boiled rice back on the gas and add a piece of bread. Turn the bread over after a while. Turn off the gas and leave the bread pieces in rice for a while. This will dry up the remaining water in the rice. Later you can also remove the bread and serve it with chili flakes.

How to prevent apples from turning brown: Sometimes we cut the apples and don't eat them. But after a while, the apple slices turn brown. To maintain the freshness of the apple and prevent enzymatic browning, put apple slices in cold water and add salt and lemon to it. Remove the slices after some time. Doing so will keep the apples fresh for a long time.

What to do if the salt container holds moisture: Moisture in the salt jar results in clumps. Because of that salt grains do not come properly out of the jar. First, try to remove the moisture from the jar. Place rice seeds in the jar. Rice grains absorb moisture and salt easily comes out as rice grains are heavy.
